FBT Europe Ltd is delighted to announce a brand-new partnership that will see the sportswear brand become the Official Apparel Provider to English Weightlifting Team ahead of the Birmingham 2022 Commonwealth Games.
FBT Europe Ltd will provide the teams with all new training and leisure wear including tracksuits, sweaters, shorts, polos, and t-shirts.
This week, some of the best lifters from across England converged on the David Ross Sports Village in the University of Nottingham to train and prepare ahead of the qualification cycle for the Birmingham 2022 Commonwealth Games.
Twenty-five athletes were in attendance with the group featuring a nice blend of youth and experience with familiar faces and first-time squad members too.
Among those present were European Champion’s Emily Campbell and Emily Muskett, Commonwealth Champion Zoe Smith, and rising stars such as Chris Murray and Emily Sweeney.
Group Manager, Helen Timms, commented on the partnership saying: “FBT are proud and excited to be working with British and English Weightlifting Teams ahead of the Olympic and Commonwealth Games. We look forward to supporting the wider weightlifting community with a new apparel range in the not-too-distant future.“
British Weightlifting Chief Operating Officer, Kath Leonard, added: “British Weight Lifting are delighted to be working with FBT as the official outfitters for the GB and England weightlifting and para-powerlifting teams. The new England kit is bright and bold ensuring our team look the part in the whilst preparing for the Commonwealth Games”.
